Introduction

The TMC5160 is a high-power stepper motor control driver chip with a serial communication interface that combines a flexible ramp generator for automatic target positioning with the industry's most advanced stepper motor driver. Combined with an external power transistor, it can achieve high dynamic and high torque motor drive. With TRINAMIC's advanced SpreadCycle and StealthChop technologies, the drive operates noiselessly and achieves maximum efficiency and optimal motor torque control. High integration, high energy efficiency and small form factor make system miniaturization and performance expansion feasible, resulting in cost-effective solutions. The complete solution greatly reduces learning time while achieving high performance.
