- Idea of the work: I happened to have a ready-made infrared remote control shell. I saw Tuya’s product categories at this event and thought that the AI voice universal remote control module is very good. It can not only remote control infrared devices but also control Tuya’s own devices with voice, so I decided to use it. The journey of torment began.

- Production process: I met Lichuang a year ago. The first time I drew a PCB, I used Lichuang EDA. For me who have never drawn a circuit board, Lichuang EDA is very easy to get started. Every time I draw the board and proof it, I It has to be modified on the fly, and of course this time is no exception. I forgot to draw the wires for the infrared receiver, so I had to fly wires to improve the function. Fortunately, the main functions are not affected. I usually use 0603 patches. This time I want to put 0402 patches, and there are not many components, so I dare to try it. . The speaker terminal on the back has a relatively small space at the bottom of the casing, just enough to fit a speaker in, so the wires can only be soldered to it. The two pole microphones are just at the position of the heat dissipation holes of the bottom case. Because there are rubber pads on the bottom, this distance is just right and will not affect the sensitivity of the microphone. The peripheral circuit of this voice module is relatively simple. But the functions are indeed very complete. The remote control shell of a certain company is already very beautiful. The new PCB is designed according to the original layout. The power interface at the rear still uses Micro USB. The small hole of the temperature sensor is enlarged to serve as a microphone switch for the distribution network. Reset is still Reset, but after the finished product is completed, it is found that this button is not commonly used and can be omitted. It can be regarded as a transformation of waste into the most useful Tuya smart remote control. After finishing it, I discovered that this remote control can also sing. Changing to a better speaker can also have good effects. However, the music library has relatively few songs, but its main function is to control infrared devices and Tuya's own smart devices. The experience was great.
- Problem encountered : After the components were soldered, I found that the remote control could be woken up by voice, but the command actions could not be recognized, so I sought support from Tuya’s technical staff and said that I needed to submit a work order (friends who made their own products here must pay attention) , and submitted After receiving the work order, the official answer was that the voice function still needs to be enabled, and it would be done in 2-3 hours.
- Finally, I would like to thank Lichuang and Tuya Smart for giving me this opportunity. In the past, I could just draw a schematic diagram and it would be enough if I could understand it. After participating in this event, I learned that everything starts from the basics. The principle drawings are clear, which is convenient for myself and others to understand, and it is easier to find the problem . I also believe that I will improve my drawings more and more in the future.
