TP4055 is a complete single-cell lithium-ion battery charger with reverse battery polarity protection and constant current/constant voltage linear control. Its SOT package and low external component count make the TP4055 ideal for portable applications. TP4055 can work with USB power supply and adapter power supply. Full voltage is fixed at 4.2V, while charging current can be externally set via a resistor. When the battery reaches 4.2V and the charging current drops to 1/10 of the set value, TP4055 will automatically terminate charging.
