The main control chip adopts Yingjixin’s IP6518
Yingjixin IP6518 is a buck converter with integrated synchronous switch, supports Type-C output, and is compatible with USB PD, DCP (Apple, Samsung and BC1.2), Qualcomm QC2.0/QC3.0, MTK PE+1.1 / PE+2.0, Huawei FCP/SCP, Spreadtrum SFCP and other 13 fast charging protocols, and can automatically identify the fast charging protocol supported by the output terminal access device through CC1/CC2 or DP/DM, and automatically adjust the output voltage and current . Provides a complete set of solutions for car chargers, fast charging source adapters, and smart power strips.
Yingjixin IP6518 adopts 4×4mm QFN24 package with built-in power MOS. The input voltage is 10.5 V~32V and the output voltage is 3V~20V. It supports a maximum power output of 45W. Typical output voltages and currents are: 3V/3.6A, 5V/3.4 A, 7V/3A, 9V/3 A, 12V/3A, 15 V/1.5A and 20V/2.3A; the step-down conversion efficiency is as high as 97%.
The output of Yingjixin IP6518 has CV/CC characteristics. When the output current is less than the set value, it outputs CV mode and the output voltage is constant; when the output current is greater than the set value, it outputs CC mode and the output voltage decreases. At the same time, the output has a line compensation function. When the output current increases, the output voltage will increase accordingly to compensate for the voltage drop caused by the impedance of the connecting line.
Yingjixin IP6518 has a soft start function, which can prevent the inrush current during startup from affecting the stability of the input power supply. It also has multiple functions such as input overvoltage and undervoltage protection, output overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage, and short circuit protection.
The main capacitor of the output uses a 1000uf solid capacitor, which can meet the PD's 20-volt output and also greatly reduce the ripple.
