Foreword:
Semiconductor prices have fluctuated greatly in the past two years. The power IC in the previously open source TPS54361 step-down power module cost hundreds of yuan to buy on Taobao, which is ridiculously expensive. Therefore, its alternative material TPS54360DDAR has emerged . Youxin can buy a piece of it for only 8.8. The performance is not bad. Comrades who like DIY and play model aircraft can use it as a bec power supply for reference.
In terms of production costs, Jialichuang provides free board printing (YYDS) twice a month. The material cost is about 70 yuan, and 5 pieces can be made, which is only 14 yuan on average. The list of materials on the BOM table of Jialichuang supports SMT, and basically all are in stock. For SMT ordering operations, you can go to Bilibili and follow "Jialichuang" to search for SMT ordering tutorials.
Information about this TPS54360 chip can be downloaded and viewed in the attachment.
Test environment: Temperature 26℃, relative humidity 70%
Test tools: 1. wanptek fixed-measurement adjustable DC regulated power supply (WPS605H) 2. DL24P digital display electronic load tester 3. S10C fully automatic digital display multimeter 4. Tiny-1B thermal imager
Experimental data:
Input voltage: 25.2V (6s) | No-load output voltage: 5.023V |
Output current | Load output voltage | IC temperature | Inductor temperature |
1A | 4.996V | 54.2℃ | 55.0℃ |
1.5A | 4.988V | 65.3℃ | 70.1℃ |
2A | 4.981V | 71.5℃ | 75.1℃ |
3A | 4.961V | 112.3℃ | 119.6℃ |
Note: The output voltage data is measured by a multimeter, and the temperature data is measured by an NTC temperature probe. The above experimental data are for reference only!
As for why the ripple and dynamic responsivity were not measured, it is because the oscilloscope and programmable load tester are from the school. I have just come out for internship now, and I will work hard to make money to buy a better one myself.
Thermal imaging shooting experiment record:
output current 1A
output current 1.5A
Output current 2A
Output current 3A
