300W desktop-level digital power amplifier (continuously updated)

Overview

EEI TECHNOLOGY X-POWER Series DIXT-1300 300W high-density digital power amplifier

  • PCB project serial number: EPB-INBX32V3251DA V1.0 R1
  • Product model: 03P-DIXT-1300-EXTREME
  • Project Phase: Testing

Notice!

  • The project is currently not completed and is being continuously updated, and is expected to be completed by the end of September.
  • This project is for DIY and learning purposes only. Any sale, dissemination, or copying of this open source project for commercial purposes is prohibited (including modifying its frame and silk-screening it for sale).
  • Investigate all piracy and counterfeiting (recently, it was discovered that a second-hand dealer deleted the "EEI TECHNOLOG" LOGO on an e-commerce platform and copied the board number and version number format of EEI TECHNOLOGY for sale, which has had a bad impact on my studio). For this kind of behavior , we will crack down severely when necessary!

development process

  • In June, I accidentally got some old audio equipment and found that the screen used VFD. The display effect was very good, but it was too bulky and generated serious heat. It was very inconvenient to use and could not be used in a small space. So the idea came up to miniaturize these devices.
  • The power amplifier uses a high-efficiency Class D amplifier, model TPA3251 from Texas Instruments, which uses PurePath technology to allow efficiency and low distortion to coexist.
  • The spectrum and EQ adopt a hardware solution. I originally wanted to use FFT to do the spectrum. However, since I am a hardware engineer and not very familiar with software algorithms, the production was extremely laggy and gave me a headache, so I could only use BPF+MUX. plan.
  • On August 15, the DIXT-1300-EXTREME digital power amplifier project was officially launched.
  • 9.03, the mainboard and board module layout has been completed.
  • 9.10, The verification of the power supply and analog parts has been completed.
  • 10.11 The software has been written and is being tested for functionality and stability.
  • Currently writing the software part.

Product Features

  • X-POWER Series 03P-DIXT-1300-EXTREME has multiple audio source selection, lossless Bluetooth decoding, USB decoding, EQ, digital volume adjustment, and spectrum display functions.
  • The onboard 360W peak power boost power supply has a wider input range (12-24v), so you can use a cheap server power supply as the power input.
  • The input has an anti-reverse connection function, which effectively prevents the power supply from burning after reverse connection.
  • The onboard delayed start circuit effectively avoids sparking when powering on.
  • Audio source input: RCA TRS (3.5MM) USB BLE.
  • Volume adjustment: DIGITAL.
  • EQ function: YES
  • Spectrum display: 14 frequency points, 15 segments of resolution.
  • Input overload protection: YES.
