USB3.0 hub based on GL3520

The GL3520 is a 4-port, low-power and configurable hub controller compliant with the USB 3.0 specification.

Onboard 4-way USB3.0 standard interface,

1 USB3.1typec data input interface,

1 USBtypec6pin external power input,

Switching power supplies through power path management,

Each of the 4 USB outputs has an independent power switch and self-recovery insurance.

When powered on for the first time, the USB power output is disabled and only the button can be used to turn on the output. This avoids storage unit errors caused by frequent power on and off of the storage device due to poor contact and other issues.

Progress tracking:

  • The welding is completed, the single-button switch function is normal, the external power path switching is normal, and the USB2.0 signal is normal.
  • 2020/11/5 3.0 signal test passed. normal operation. (The main reason is the addition of the VL160 double-sided signal switching chip, which is required for the TYPEC interface as a signal input.)

There is firmware at the end of the article. It can be used normally without burning the firmware. The firmware can be customized with a personalized device name.
