I tried adding a totem pole driver to the MOS tube, and the measured waveform was improved and the heat was reduced.

The measured efficiency is about 88%, the charging current is 2.5A, the room temperature is about 33 degrees, there is no external heat dissipation, and the hand can barely touch the PCB.

If the power is higher, it needs to be attached with a heat sink.

The diode is reversed in the actual object, but has been corrected in the drawing. AD source files have been uploaded for reference.
