This microcontroller programmer is designed using the CH549G chip.
Since the official firmware doesn't support one-click firmware mode switching, the board is more streamlined.
Switching modes requires re-downloading the firmware to the programmer.
If it's a brand new chip, simply solder it and plug it into the computer to use the official software for monitoring and programming.
If you need to change the firmware, you need to short-circuit the UPD on the back of the board to power it on, then you can use the official software for monitoring and downloading.
Other details are described in the official documentation and open-source communities, so I won't repeat them here.
 
Note: If your computer displays warnings such as "descriptor not found" after soldering, it's almost certainly a chip problem. I bought the cheapest CH549G on Taobao for a little over three yuan, and it didn't work after three tries. Then I replaced it with a chip from Uxin Electronics, and it worked perfectly. Don't be cheap on chips.
Tip: It's best to use solder paste for Type-C interfaces. I've already ruined five boards by using lead-free solder wire, which is a clear sign of my poor soldering skills.
