1 Introduction

Solution verification board using AG7111 3-in-1-out HMDI switching chip

It is also a follow-up to the last audio switching. Because there are many devices, it is troublesome to unplug and plug in HDMI cables every time, so I did this.

There are also audio switchers and USB+HUB 4 in and 4 out switches. Welcome to jump to each switch project:

The chip is about 10 yuan a piece, and the peripherals are actually less than 15. Jack Ma sells 3 in 1 out online for about 70+ soft sister coins.

2.Principle

The chip specifications have been given, but to be honest, there are no typical application diagrams in the specifications . They are all drawings made by myself. There may be some errors in them. If anyone knows, please point out the errors, thank you ~

The schematic diagram is still relatively simple, but there are a few points that need attention:

  • The output CK+- needs to be connected to a 3.3V pull-up

  • The TXISEL pin is left floating for hardware control. There is no MCU control here, it is pure hardware. If there is no L1 magnetic bead, a 0 ohm resistor can be used. MCU control is to give different voltage values ​​to the TXISEL pin to switch different ports.

3. Shell

The casing is drawn higher and the keys, switches and LED lights can be raised slightly for welding

4. Precautions for use

USB5V is reserved. In fact, the 5V of the HDMI output device can also be used to supply power to the board. If you find that the light does not light up, or the output signal flickers and the screen changes, you need to connect a 5V power supply.

The measured HDMI direct connection has no problem, and HDMI to DVI has no problem. HDMI to VGA has insufficient power supply and requires an additional 5V power supply.

Improve:

  • You can walk the same length
  • Replace LOD with low pressure difference
  • Also replace the diode with a low voltage difference one.
  • Video signal string beads
  • Do 100 ohm impedance matching on the HDMI signal cable (jlc can do it, but it costs extra, the prostitutes do it at will, and they don’t do certification anyway)

In addition, you can make a 5-in, 1-out, 7-in, 1-out solution. Just stack chips, but it requires MCU control. When I have time, I am making a 5-in, 1-out, 7-in, 1-out solution.
