Overview

【Background of the project】

Participate in the bionic robot dog training camp and make a small clock based on ITCAST-HI3861 control. It is the first time to draw a board and make a dog leg to play with.

【Project Description】

Based on the OpenHarmony open source Hongmeng system development, all interfaces are introduced, including the reserved burning port, I2C interface, and the external PCA9685 finished servo control board. A complete dog will be made in the future.

【Application Scenario】

1. Hi3861 has wifi function and can be used for smart home, control of robot dogs, small clocks, etc.

2. More than 16 channels of servos can be supported through I2C. PCA9685 has 6 address lines, and a maximum of 62 PCA9685 driver boards can be cascaded, with a total of 992 channels of PWM.

【Production process】

1. Follow the course to complete the HI3861 circuit design, component selection, and external PCA9685 (finished modules are cheap) to control two servos.

2. The schematic diagram of the finished PCA9685 module is also drawn.

3. Rx and Tx were reversed (modified). Unexpectedly, it was already reversed in the chip document. When I connected to ch340, it was reversed again.

4. Purchase of related components and PCB proofing

5. Use WSL to build a development environment

6. Temporarily use the official Xiaojian Clock firmware

7. If acrylic merchants charge too high prices, they should choose environmentally friendly solutions (dog heads).
