heating plate

The heating plate uses trace resistors on the aluminum substrate to generate heat, and the traces are designed as Hilbert curves.

 

PCB trace resistance calculation:
Resistivity of copper: ρ=0.0175Ωmm 2 /m
Trace length: L
Trace width: W
PCB copper thickness: D=0.035mm
PCB trace resistance: R=(ρL)/(1000×WD)

 

Hilbert curve length calculation:
Order: n
Unit length: d
Total length: l =(2 2n -1)×d
 
The total length of the sixth-order Hilbert curve with a unit length of 1.23mm is 5036.85mm, the trace width is 0.84mm, and the calculated theoretical resistance is about 3Ω. The power supply is 24V/10A, with a maximum power of 192W.

Thermometry

K type thermocouple+MAX6675
Do not use the Teflon insulation layer below for thermocouples. When the temperature approaches 300°C, the insulation layer will melt and cause a short circuit. The insulation layer that can be used is fiberglass.

Instructions for use

  • The file system will be formatted when it is started for the first time, which will take some time.
  • Click in the main interface to enter reflow mode
  • Double-click on the main interface to enter power mode
  • Long press on the main interface to open the menu
  • Long press in the main menu to return to the previous level
  • Adjustable PID parameters and Kalman filter parameters
