DAC universal power board (equipped with Panasonic 30W square bull)

Overview

Are you still worried about not being able to find a power strip that matches Panasonic’s square sealed transformer online ?

Look Here!

This board is designed for it!

First Kangkan its photo

A brief description:

This power board can be used directly by most DACs. It has a dual power supply (for analog circuits) + a single power supply (for digital circuits). It has been personally verified.

Single power supply: +5V and +3.3V, both common voltages for various DAC chips

Dual power supply: Because the Panasonic 30w small square bull outputs 18V*2AC, the theoretical output after conversion is ±25.5VDC (voltage calculation formula after rectification and filtering: U AC effective value * 1.414 = U DC voltage ). In fact, because of the power grid of the community where I live The voltage fluctuates between 225V and 240V for a long time, and the actual reading is 26V (±0.5V error)

Features of this board : (The first three are all joking, please do not take it seriously or try it)

-1: Extra large capacitance, stronger short-circuit current explosion, more powerful ignition (doge)

0.Support Panasonic square 30w sealed transformer (obvious nonsense)

0.5: The simulated power supply uses GBJ2510 bridge stack, and you can experience the extreme speed of a large current bridge stack with a small current load (doge)

1. Compatible with most DACs.

2. Use slots to isolate high and low voltage areas. GND copper paving is further away from high voltage parts to prevent creepage and protect HIFI safety!

3. The single power supply part uses an onboard voltage regulator block, which is very convenient whether it is a homemade DAC board or a recycled DAC.

4. Special thickened version of the power supply line, low DC resistance, can pass 5A current for a long time without generating heat (although a 30W transformer cannot run such a large current).

Additional information:

1. The capacitor in the schematic diagram is 150uF. In fact, these "150uF" capacitors should be 35V7400uF (because it is impossible to find component packages that match the pitch and capacity at the same time, matching the pitch is preferred)

2. If you don’t need onboard voltage stabilization, find a copper wire and directly short-circuit pins 1 and 3 of the 7805 (do not connect it to pin 2, it is GND , which may set off fireworks ), and do not install any voltage regulator tube.

3. Never bring a power amplifier board . The transformer smokes at your own risk . It is just a 30W calf!

4. The connectors can be placed in any position and do not have to be exactly the same as in the picture. The remaining components can be assembled as shown in the picture

5.Be sure to check whether the polarity is correct before welding the capacitor! (This is the most important, so the font is enlarged)
