Rechargeable battery 2.0

Overview

Because this chip was included in some electronic price tags I bought before, I checked the specifications. The quiescent current was super low, and my hands were itchy. I just downgraded the rechargeable battery 1.0 used in my mouse, so I came up with the project of Rechargeable Battery 2.0.

TP4054: Lithium battery charging management

XB3303A: Lithium battery overvoltage, undervoltage and overcurrent protection

TPS62736RGYT: Programmable Output Voltage Ultra-Low Power Buck Converter

Approximate parameters:

Voltage input: 5V

Output: 1.5V <= 50mA

Charging current: <= 0.1A

Quiescent current: about 3.8uA

There are two different versions of PCB: No. 7 AAA and No. 5 AA. Only No. 7 was sampled and verified.

I used No. 7: 501035/130mAh/3.7V lithium battery

Estimated maximum idle time of 130mA lithium battery: 130/0.00388/24=about 1396 days

Rechargeable Battery 1.0 ( https://oshwhub.com/FJ956391150/ke-chong-dian-dian-chi ) I used to make a 130mA lithium battery with a quiescent current of about 25uA, which is enough to last my wireless mouse for about a month.
