Overview
  • Project source: modified and verified using the project of Kaiyuan Square (original open source link: https://oshwhub.com/an_ye/esp8266-kai-fa-banv2-0 )
  • Problems discovered: After welding and assembling the PCB using the schematic diagram of the original project, it was found that it could not be burned through the built-in USB. After careful inspection, it was found that the current provided by the 3.3-volt regulator was too small, resulting in insufficient power supply to the chip. Unable to burn and not work properly.
  • Fault analysis: The maximum current of the original linear regulator is 250mA, but the demand of this circuit is about 500mA. The 250mA linear regulator is far from enough, resulting in the failure of normal programming.
  • Solution: Replace the original linear regulator ME6209A (maximum current 250mA) with AMS1117 (maximum current 1000mA).
  • Optimized details: Added programming indicator light and work indicator light, replaced Mike USB with the "extremely" advanced Type-c interface, optimized wiring, added screw holes around the board, and can install an acrylic shell to make the board more durable
  • Extra: During this exploration process, I also encountered an unexpected setback, that is, the board I prototyped at Jialichuang encountered a problem of non-conductivity at the top and bottom of the vias, which resulted in a lot of wasted time. I would like to remind your company , please be sure to strictly control product quality during the PCB production process to ensure that everyone can use high-quality PCBs.
