Overview

Expected functions of the Xiaojian Clock: You can control the Xiaojian Clock to draw specified graphics in a designated area through the serial port or WiFi.

Solution design and selection: Refer to the official design and consider the actual needs of Xiaojian clock. Hi3861 module is used as the core, PCA9685PW is used as the servo driver chip, and the servo model is SG90. The entire system adopts 5V Type-C power supply mode. Since the common 5V/2A mobile phone charger can meet the current required for three SG90 servos to operate at the same time, the LM in the official design is canceled. The disadvantage is that if the PCA9685PW is used in the future, it will be expanded. Other output ports need to use a power supply with sufficient current.

The acrylic shell, firmware, and simulation software used in this training camp are all officially provided.

Without a suitable marker on hand, the verification video had to go in vain.

Gains and insights: Through this training camp, I got to know more electronics enthusiasts. We discussed and tested the feasibility together. On the basis of the original development program routines provided by the official, some more creative ideas and upgraded works have emerged.

The combination of theory and practice allows novices to create a successful work.
