PCM51XX Universal Verification Board

 
Overview
Description:
This verification board is based on the C964085 PCM5102 audio stereo DAC decoder verification board from LiChuang Mall. It has been modified
to add support for PCM512X (PCM5121/PCM5122). PCM512X is configured in hard-wired mode on this verification board, using only its DAC function;
support for 3-wire I2S is added (3-wire I2S has no master clock signal MCK/SCK), which is achieved by shorting the SCK pin of the DAC to ground;
a level selection jumper is added to control the AGNS (gain selection) pin of PCM512X. The output gain is 2VRMS at a low level and 1VRMS at a high level;
the analog output end only retains the advanced 3.5mm audio output port, and the mode selection pin is removed from the digital end;
a TVS is added to the 5V power input for ESD protection.
Note:
The chips supported by this verification board
        are PCM510X series: PCM5100, PCM5101, PCM5102
                                          PCM5100A, PCM5101A, PCM5102A
                                          PCM5100A-Q1, PCM5101A-Q1, PCM5102A-Q1 (the ones with Q1 are automotive grade)
        For PCM510X series: PCM5121, PCM5122
Physical display:
When connected to the CM6631A digital interface, sound came out immediately, and beautiful music came out from the other end of the earphone...
This digital interface supports up to 32bit/384k (but it is not very stable, probably because of the 6631 firmware). After adjusting to the maximum specification, use this verification board to play sound without any noise.
