Overview
The LM2596 regulator circuit is ideal for easy and quick design of step-down switching regulators (buck converters). It is capable of driving 3.0 A loads with excellent line and load regulation. The device is available in an adjustable output version and is internally compensated to minimize external component count, simplifying power supply design.
