Overview

The NCP1566TEL5V10AGEVB Evaluation Board is ideal to power 5-V circuits from a Telecom input voltage range (36-72 V). The maximum continuous current is 10 A and excursions up to 15 A are possible. Synchronous secondary-side rectifiers together with adaptive dead time make the part an excellent choice for powering active-clamp forward converters. The efficiency peaks above 93% at full load and maintains good performance as the output current reduces.
