Power Multiplexer Circuit

 
Overview
In this reference design, a power multiplexer circuit with 2 inputs and 1 output is implemented on a small printed circuit board (PCB). An ideal diode with BBM and MBB switching is created using MOSFET gate drive circuit ICs, eFuse ICs, Zener diodes, and small package MOSFETs selected from Toshiba's various product lines. Description Circuit Dual-input single-output power multiplexer circuit Input VINA/Input VINB 5V/20V, 5V/12V, 9V/20V, 5V/12V, 12V/24V Output current (max) 3A to 5A Features Power multiplexer circuit with 2 inputs and 1 output in a small 2cm×2cm size PCB mounting 5 reference circuit product lines with an input voltage range of 5V to 24V and an output current of up to 5A. Supports switching of various power systems such as USB power delivery, fast charging, and wireless power supply Switchable MBB (make before break), BBM (break before make) operations Ideal diode characteristics
