TPD4162F square wave control BLDC motor drive circuit

Overview

• In the high-voltage PWM controlled motor drive IC TPD4162F, a square wave control type brushless DC motor drive circuit is used.
• New high breakdown voltage SOI process can reduce power loss and improve efficiency.
• In addition to the traditional current limiting function, TPD4162F also has an overcurrent fast protection function.
• The compact package HSSOP31 helps achieve miniaturization of printed circuit boards.

Features

• Terminals on the high voltage power side and low voltage signal side are installed separately.
• Bootstrap circuit provides simple high-side power supply.
• Built-in bootstrap diode.
• Built-in PWM and 3-phase diode circuit.
• Selectable number of pulses per revolution of output, 3 pulses or 1 pulse
• Use IGBT to achieve 3-phase bridge output
• Built-in FRD
• Contains over-current, current-limiting and under-voltage protection as well as over-temperature protection
• Compatible with Hall element input and Hall element input IC input
• Compact package: HSSOP31 (11.93mm×17.5mm×2.2mm)
