Overview

1. Design method:
Open TI Workbench, select this chip, set the parameters, and you will have a picture, and you can also simulate it. I modified a MOS, and AO3400 is cheap.
2. The result is exactly
the same as the simulation, but it is not good. I did not look at the simulation results carefully when selecting the model.
When the input voltage is higher than 5.2V, the output ripple is relatively small, otherwise there will be a large ripple, about sixty mV.
3. Does the design need to be modified?
Modify the output capacitor and increase the capacitance; or go back to workbench and try modifying the inductor.
