[Spark Project] 8-port Gigabit switch RTL8370N

Overview

Project description:
Fool-type 8-port Gigabit switch, plug and play.
A switch (also known as a switching hub) is a network device used for forwarding electrical (optical) signals. It can provide an exclusive electrical signal path for any two network nodes connected to the switch. The role of a switch can be understood as connecting some machines to form a local area network.

Open source protocol:
GPL3.0 protocol

project related functions:
Provides 8 10/100/1000M adaptive RJ45 ports, all ports can achieve line-speed forwarding; each port supports MDI/MDIX automatic flip and duplex/rate auto-negotiation; Supports IEEE 802.3x full-duplex flow control and Backpressure half-duplex flow control; plug and play, no management required;

Project attributes:
This project is disclosed for the first time and is my original project. The project has not won any awards in other competitions.

Project progress:
2023-02-11: The schematic and PCB have been designed, waiting for the next step of physical verification of PCB and SMT.
2023-02-16: There are problems with the schematic and PCB parts, waiting for the V1.1 board to be repaired.
2023-03- 01: Due to the delay of the Eryang incident, the repair was changed to May
2023-05-26: switchV1.1 and powerV1.1 have fixed the currently known problems (final product)
2023-05-31: Release of open source

design principles:
Power Principle:
Domestic DC-DC chip: RT7272BGSP (support domestic)

Switch principle:
RTL8370N chip frame

RTL8370N pins.

Regarding configuring it as a fool switch, you only need: STRP_DISAUTOLOAD=1

and other pins can be configured casually, depending on your own needs. For example:

compress the PCB into 10x10CM, so that everyone can have sex for free and enjoy it alone, not as much as everyone can enjoy it!

The chips of the switches are relatively simple. Just be able to read the datasheet. Just be
ok. Just be ok
and understand the datasheet.
Say the important things three times! Thanks!

Software description:
Fool-style 8-port Gigabit switch, plug and play.
No software configuration is required, just configure the pins.
It’s enough if you can understand the datasheet.

Physical display:
with radiator (cooling fan is optional).

New version VT1.1 (left). Old version VT1.0 (right).

Design notes:
It’s enough if you can understand the datasheet.
You can start with Check out my articles, they are all about switches.
