TPS63070 buck-boost module

Overview

Take the common power supplies of 5V and 3.3V as an example:
first adjust the input to 6.4V, the output is 5V
! [IMG_20230724_215824.jpg] Then adjust the input to 3.2V, and the output is still stable at 5V
! [IMG_20230724_215834.jpg] Then adjust the input to 2.4V, the output is still stable at 5V
! [IMG_20230724_220012.jpg] Adjust the input to 7.4V, and the output is 3.3V
! [IMG_20230724_215917.jpg] Adjust the input to 12.9V, and the output is still stable at 3.3V
! [IMG_20230724_215934.jpg] Summary: The The module realizes the basic functions of input 2-16V and output 2.5V-9V adjustable, but during the actual test process, I found that the output of the module can reach 10V or 11V when the input is 2.4V (maybe because it is no-load during the test) , because I was worried that the output voltage would be too high and cause the chip to burn, so I didn’t dare to try what the maximum output was. The detailed adjustment process can be found in the video.
PS: The QFN package is too difficult to solder. When the module is not used 80% of the time, the chip pins are soldered. Be sure to check whether the pins of the QFN chip are soldered. Use a soldering iron to solder around the chip. The module is still very good and can be upgraded. It can also reduce the voltage, which is very useful when the power supply voltage changes greatly.
