1.1 Project Description
This computer HUB expander is based on CS5268 and has a four-layer board structure. The key technology lies in the transmission of high-speed signals, and impedance matching needs to be calculated. You can practice your high-speed signal wiring capabilities. At the same time You can also give it to a beautiful female classmate.

1.2 Project related functions
extend the computer's TPEC-C signal to USB3.0+ PD2.0 + HDMI2.0b signal, supports 4K high-definition video output. It can charge the computer while expanding.
Project attributes.
This project is disclosed for the first time and is my original project. The project has not won any awards in other competitions.
1.3 Project Progress
The board is small and can be sampled for free. The main CS5268 chip can be purchased on Taobao. The overall price of an expander plus the casing is about 50 yuan. All the chips on the board are cheap and high-performance domestic chips.

2.1 Design Principle

The schematic diagram is divided into interface, main control chip and power supply part.
2.1.1 Interface circuit

The interface circuit is divided into HDMI output, USB3.0 output, TPYE-C output (PD2.0) and TPYE-C input.
The power monitoring part is to monitor whether the secondary TPYE-C output port is connected to a charger or other sub-device.
Here we should note that the main C port is not an ordinary interface with full speed.
If you need multiple USB outputs, you can add a USB signal expansion chip and add an additional USB2.0 interface. Since I am pursuing a small size here, I have not drawn this part of the circuit.
2.1.2 Power supply circuit

The power supply circuit is a 1V power supply and a 5V power supply. At the same time, there must be a level matching circuit. When the secondary c port inputs current, it charges the notebook computer. When there is no input, it changes to the power output.
2.1.3 Main control circuit

The main control circuit is very simple. It is worth noting that the 3.3V voltage is stepped down from the inside of the chip, so it is normal to generate slight heat during operation.
