ESP32 Micro Wagon Chassis V3_Yufeng

 
Overview

ESP32 micro multifunctional Mecanum wheel car chassis, supports mobile phone Bluetooth control and Yufeng ESP_Mini remote control. Many versions have been made. I share one of the more satisfactory V3 versions for your reference. The main control is the ESP32 development board, which controls four motors plus a WS2812 module, with a total of 9 IO ports. If you need to add other functions, you can modify the diagram yourself or directly connect Dupont wires or fly wires. The two rows of pins on the development board each have an additional row. There is a TP4056 charging module at the bottom, and there are HT7333 and three capacitors for voltage regulation (it may be saved and directly connected to the VIN pin of the development board. If you are interested, you can try to change it. I don’t know if it will affect the stability of the Bluetooth connection). This part of the power circuit can be modified as needed.
 
The program source code is not shared for the time being, but there is a compiled firmware. The firmware and burning software flash_download_tool, as well as the burning tutorial, are packaged in the data package. The process is very simple.

Features 1: Supports two motor and wheel installation methods, one is M10 reduction motor + light-curing printed micro-Mecanum wheel (designed by group friend Mendel's Princess Cut), and the other is to use N20 motor + 48mm injection molded Mecanum wheel (or more expensive 37mm Mecanum wheel);
          1. Light-curing printed micro-Mecanum wheel + M10 planetary gear reduction motor, high appearance, difficult to make, desktop toy, and easy to damage; 2. Finished 48mm injection molded Mecanum wheel + 6V200 to N20 reduction motor, larger, easier to install, smooth to control, and sturdy; (Note: The motor speed can be adjusted according to personal preference, but it is recommended not to be too fast, otherwise it will be difficult to control and will slip.)
The three cars in the picture above are: M10 planetary gear reduction motor + micro-wheat wheel made by light-curing printing, 6V200 to N20 reduction motor + 37mm injection molded wheat wheel, 6V200 to N20 reduction motor + 48mm injection molded wheat wheel. (The first car with a mechanical claw is not open source in other versions yet)

Feature 2: Supports three motor driver installation methods, namely TB6612FNG (now more expensive), DRV8833 (directly replaceable with the former), Rz7899 chip + capacitor (two drivers share a 470UF capacitor, the capacitor may be omitted);
the picture below shows the installation effect of using the RZ7899 chip. The 470UF capacitor is relatively large, and it will not be ugly if installed on the bottom, and it seems to be able to be used normally without installation.
(By the way, please explain to me how to choose this capacitor. If it is for good looks, should I not use the capacitor directly? Or should I replace it with a 100uF chip capacitor? Which one is better?)
 
Feature 3: Supports two control methods. One is classic Bluetooth control. I use my favorite Android APP and can set the interface myself. The data contains the APP and the configuration files I have set. The second is to use the ESP_Mini remote control I designed to control it through ESP-NOW communication.

The installation process is relatively simple, and there is also a simple video demonstration in the data package.
V3 version material list: 1. PCB: 1. Bottom PCB*1; 2. Electronic control materials: 1. ESP-WROOM-32*1; 2. TB6612FNG module or DRV8833 module *2; (or RZ7899 driver chip *4 + 1 470uf capacitor for every 2 chips (capacitors can be omitted)) 3, TP4056 charging module *1; 4, 8-bit or 12-bit WS2812B ring RGB module *1 (optional, increases appearance, pay attention to the pin position, I have bought two different ones); 5, HT7333 voltage regulator chip *1; 6, 0805 package 10uf chip capacitor *2; 7, 0805 package 0.1uf chip capacitor *1; 8, ordinary small toggle switch Off*1 (power switch); 9, M10 planetary gear motor or N20 gear motor*4; (and a set of matching wheat wheels)
3. Other accessories and materials: 1. Several pin headers and female headers for welding; 2. 3D printed motor fixing base*4; 3. M2 screws and nuts*8 each;
4. Recommended battery model: 1. 102040 size soft pack lithium battery (capacity about 1000-1200mah)*1;
