# Project Description

This work is the second development board based on ATmega 328P designed by me. Compared with previous projects, this work has a friendly pin sorting and (almost) full direct plug layout while maintaining a small size.

### About direct plug layout

In order to reduce the difficulty of production as much as possible, this work uses direct plug-in components as much as possible. Only the CH340C chip has no corresponding direct plug product. Fortunately, its SOP-16 package is the easiest to solder among SMD components.

For the USB connector, there are two options. Please choose according to your own soldering skills and/or actual needs:

* **USB TYPE-B** connector, as the least loose version of the USB connector, it is widely used in a large number of scenarios including the original Arduino, and its full straight-insert installation method is very friendly to novices;
* **USB TYPE-C** connector, the best connector, its application range and expansion trend must be obvious to everyone; but the 16P SMD version has fine pins, which requires a certain understanding of soldering skills.

### About BOM

**Please do not use the automatically generated BOM. **See the attachment for the actual BOM. This problem is caused by my development habits being different from LCEDA's automatic BOM logic, and I don't want to change it (

you know, component selection doesn't have to be based on the BOM). Especially the 1/8W color ring resistors used here, you can use the common 1/4W without any problem, just plug it in and bend the pins.

## Connectivity and Functionality

* Just plug in the USB cable, or provide 5.0V power through the 5V pin to meet all the working conditions of the MCU (if it is too high or too low, the development board may not work or even be damaged);
* 20 IOs arranged in an Arduino-compatible order;
* Optional USB Type-C connector and onboard full-speed driver-free USB 2.0 to UART Chip (CH340C), connected to UART 0;
* With a reset button, and 4 LED indicators to show the status of power, UART Rx/Tx, SCK (i.e. digital port 13, PB5);
* No separate ICSP burning port is set, if necessary, it can be connected from the GPIO connector.
