555 dimming

Overview

The light bulb can be an old-fashioned tungsten filament bulb, or any light bulb within 5v2A. If there is a whistling sound from the power supply or filament during dimming, connecting a capacitor in parallel with the power input can reduce the sound. I used an ALPS09 type potentiometer with a switch. I dragged the package directly from Lichuang Mall, but the actual made one was a little smaller than the potentiometer I had on hand, and it could be stuffed in. The light bulb on the meter head is not very bright, so it is suitable for use as an ambient light or a peeing light. When using a higher power bulb, be careful about the heat generated. The board itself basically does not heat up.
