TPA3116 desktop power amplifier

 
Overview

This project is a replica of Hacklabs' TPA3116 desktop power amplifier, and some adjustments have been made to optimize
the original project: [Open Source] 100 yuan homemade audio power amplifier, can it produce good sound?
Based on the original project, the adjustments and optimizations made are as follows:
a one-time insurance is added to the input end. If a fault occurs, the entire system can be protected immediately;
the linear voltage regulator used in the front-end power supply is replaced by 78M12, and the heat dissipation power allowed by the package is greater, and the heating problem under high input voltage will be smaller; the front-
end power supply is replaced by 78M12. The 6 audio coupling capacitors were all replaced with plug-in stepless capacitors. The MLCCs in the original project were not suitable for coupling purposes;
the 4 0.68μF MLCCs for the output LC filter were also replaced with plug-in stepless capacitors;
the audio input socket was replaced with a more common, stronger and more durable plug-in capacitor. Pulled out PJ-306.
Regarding the selection of components, my personal suggestions are as follows:
there is no need to use AD5962 for the op amp, the most common 5532/4580 will do (I personally use an NJM4580D with 8 cents, and the effect is good);
the coupling capacitor of the front stage is original Weimaraner MKP is used, which can be replaced by cheaper Epcos 1μF/63V MKP capacitors;
the 4 electrolytic capacitors of PVCC are recommended to use high-frequency electrolytic capacitors with ultra-low ESR;
the capacitor of the output LC low-pass filter is 0.68μF from Xiamen Farad /63V MKP stepless capacitor.
