mini whip

Overview

There are several mini whip electric field antenna solutions on the Internet, the main ones are J310 input and dual gate tube input. The dual gate has a combined input and a gate input, so I drew an integrated board to facilitate my own testing;
it is completely straightforward . Coupling, because matching will not be counted, the wire width and so on are randomly selected, and impedance will not be counted;
J310 is used as a constant current load, which may be better than resistance. The input impedance in the simulation is larger, and the actual effect cannot be measured;
potential The regulator is used to adjust the working point of the input stage. Because a constant current source is used as the load, the power supply voltage has little effect on the working point of the subsequent stage. The voltage is 9V-12V. For
unrigorous testing, there is only an airspy hf, which can be adjusted by changing I haven’t found any obvious difference in signal-to-noise ratio after adjusting it, but J310 seems to have a lower noise floor.
Currently, the input stage working point setting that I think has the best effect is:
J310 under 12v battery, current 10ma, gate voltage 6.7V;
BF998, current 8ma, G1 voltage is 5.8V, G2 voltage is 10V;
12-20 update: Added the previously forgotten pad of the SMA seat on the bottom, and streamlined the redundant vias;
