IP5306CK MCU Power Board

 
Overview

Instructions for use
: The chip IP5306 is a power bank chip, which is very cheap and has good performance. However, if it is used to drive a low-power microcontroller, it will lose power after a while and enter sleep mode. So I chose the special version IP5306CK. 1. If necessary, you can also weld the original IP5306, which is fully compatible.
2. The standby current of IP5306CK is relatively large, because it is working continuously, and 1117 also has a certain static current. Therefore, I separated the power supply of 5306 from the battery power supply. If you don't consider power consumption, just short-circuit VCC and BAT+.
3.1117 3.3 and anti-backflow diode do not need to be welded
4. TypeC does not need to be welded, and you can use the vin pin to input 5v charging

Limitations
The standby current is 3ma, which is relatively large. The boost part of this power module cannot be used in projects that need to be powered on continuously and are battery-powered. For such projects, it is recommended to use non-CK version chips and use a single-chip microcomputer to simulate continuous key clicks.
Each time the chip is powered on, a key needs to be pressed to activate the chip. The chip
cannot communicate directly with the main control (interested students can study the I2C model of Yingjixin)
Incompatible with perforated boards, 2.0mm holes, can be changed by yourself
 
 
### Introduction to IP5306
ip5306-ck is a special version of ip5306, which continuously boosts. This boost board can also use ip5306, but the load needs to meet the requirements or the key pin needs to be continuously activated by PWM signal simulation.
> IP5306 is a multi-function power management SOC with integrated boost converter, lithium battery charging management, and battery power indication, providing a complete power solution for mobile power. > The high integration and rich functions of IP5306 make it only need a few peripheral devices when applied, and effectively reduce the size of the overall solution, > reducing BOM cost. > IP5306 only needs one inductor to realize buck and boost functions. > It can support low-cost inductors and capacitors. > The synchronous boost system of IP5306 provides a maximum output current of 2.4A, and the conversion efficiency is as high as 92%. The circuit diagram is very simple, right! Right!
### Protection chip XB7608AJ
The first and second versions of the protection chip choose Fuman's DW03D. No need to use mos extra. But the price of DW03D is slightly more expensive (5-7 cents), and the price is even higher after the chip surge in 21 years. The schematic diagram and PCB of this part of the second version are as follows

I chose the XB7608AJ chip. I met him because I saw other products using this chip, and the package felt very strange (CPC5), so I checked it out and felt that the price was very cheap (0.26¥), and the peripheral circuit only needed one resistor and one capacitor, which was easier to weld than dw03d. It is a chip from XySemi Inc. I actually bought some of this chip last year, but I didn't know where I put it. When I revised it, I remembered that there was another chip that could be used. Then use it, hope there is no problem. I did not find the specification book on the official website of the chip, but found the English specification book on LiChuang Mall, which briefly introduces this chip.
 
The peripheral circuit is extremely simple!
