Digital Life Card USB3.0

Overview

The project actually started in February. Due to some things and various problems encountered, it has not been completed until now. Even so, the model is not perfect. For a demonstration of the effect, you can watch this https://www.bilibili.com/video /BV12s4y1P7T7/
Because I used 2242 M.2 to make the digital life card body, and I am limited by my personal skills (I am a novice) and am not able to draw a small enough USB3.0hub circuit, the overall size is much larger than the original model in the movie. Not much, but I still tried my best to restore it on the model. The model has been 3D printed and verified to be usable without problems, but tapping will be more troublesome. In fact, I also want to use CNC... but it is very expensive. Regarding functions, the HUB adopts the VL817 solution. I have considered using the faster VL822 before, but this is my first time to draw a USB3.0 board. I am worried that the signal will be incomplete. Due to sexual issues, the speed cannot reach the full speed of the chip. In addition, I personally feel that the speed of 5Gbps can actually meet the needs of most people, so I finally chose VL817.
Regarding the model, the HUB model is drawn according to the size of the circuit board. However, in order to ensure the size of the internal space and wall thickness, the actual modeling process is still very painful. The first time I proofed it, I failed to plug in the USB because I did not pay attention to the front and back. In turn, the space will be even more cramped... In fact, if you use the Type-c interface as USB out, you can save a lot of space. However, considering that most devices in reality still use USB-A as the mainstream, we use the standard USB interface. The final model will therefore be a bit larger. If there is someone who can draw a board smaller than this and verify that the function is normal, I am willing to modify the model for him!
The model of the M.2 solid-state drive is drawn based on the dimensions of the following board: 2242. The model of the 2280
amplifier circuit is fixed with 6 screws, 2 of which are used to fix the circuit board, and the other 4 are used to fix the top cover. The specifications are all M1 .6 of. The life card body uses 1 screw to fix the shell. The specification is M2. It is recommended to use hexagonal cylindrical screws for better appearance. It is recommended to choose M1.6*3 and M2*5 for the two screw specifications.
Addition: It is recommended to replace the two 0805 capacitors with 0603 ones. If 0805 is too large, it will hit the cover and cause it to not close. Update:
1: Add 2280 M.2 model file, but the file has not been verified yet! ! !
2: Add the original solidworks file of the M.2 model. You can modify the model size according to your own USB device.

Finally, your suggestions and guidance are welcome!
