esp32-nes game console-WROOM

The main control of the hardware solution
is the ESP32-WROOM module or ESP32-S module. PSRAM chip bits are reserved on the board.
The ESP32-WROOM module does not reserve an interface for external PSRAM. The game console can only run games with a size below 1024K. The loading speed is slow, there is no JPG and PNG image decoding support, and the interface is simple.
The ESP32-S module reserves an interface for external PSRAM, ESP32-S module + PSRAM = ESP32-WROVER module. Better performance and faster game loading.
 
The software solution
is modified from the NCAT project on GitHub. Use Arduino to develop

The game console supports three simulators: NES, GBC, and SMS, as well as MP3 players. To store games and music on an external memory card, you need to create a new NES, GBC, SMS, AUDIO folder in the root directory of the memory card, and save the game or music files in it.
 
Firmware compilation and upload instructions are
compiled using Arduino IDE. You need to install ESP32 development board version 1.0.5 or 1.0.6 to compile and upload the program.
The source code of the arduino program contains many libraries that need to be used. It is too large to be uploaded and must be placed on the network disk for self-pickup.
