DER-394 - 275W PFC Front End

Overview

This engineering report describes a PFC power supply using the HiperPFS-3 PFS7527H PFC controller with integrated power MOSFETs and switching diodes. The power supply is designed as a universal platform, operates from a universal input line voltage, and provides a stable 385 V DC output voltage and 275W of continuous output power. The DER-394 power supply is designed to operate with greater than 200 LFM forced air cooling under all input and load conditions and is rated up to a maximum ambient temperature of 50°C.
