DER-515 - 12 W Non-Dimmable Non-Isolated LED Driver

Overview

This engineering report describes a non-dimmable, non-isolated buck-boost LED driver designed to drive a nominal 75 V, 160 mA LED over a wide input voltage range of 90 VAC to 308 VAC voltage string. The LED driver uses LYT5226D in the LYTSwitch-5 series of devices. LYTswitch-5 is a device series designed specifically for non-dimmable wide-range AC input LED drivers, with single-stage PFC functionality and precise LED current control. The DER-515 provides a single 12 W constant current output. The main design goals are high efficiency, low THD, low component count and low profile. This design is suitable for tube LED applications. This document contains power supply specifications, schematics, bill of materials, transformer documentation, printed circuit layout, design spreadsheet, and performance data.
