The NVT2008PW (OM13317) and NVT2010PW (OM13324) demonstration boards are designed to allow customers to evaluate NXP's 8- or 10-channel bidirectional voltage level translators. The demo board connects I/O devices at different voltage levels. Because the NVT2008PW and NVT2010PW devices are passive, pull-up resistors may be required depending on the I/O interface type (totem pole or open drain), the transition voltage difference, and the transition direction (high voltage to low voltage, low voltage to high voltage, or bidirectional) . The NVT2008PW and NVT2010PW devices allow conversion between any voltage from 1.0 V to 5.5 V.
