Project Description:
Thank you to everyone in the LCSC community for your comments and reposts. This AR project is expected to achieve mass production this year. Those who receive the hardware early can modify the open-source code to implement customized functions.
Compared to the previous generation LittleAR, this version of the main project has removed unpopular functions and focuses on vocabulary memorization and navigation. The weight has been reduced from 26.8g to 20.4g, basically achieving "unobtrusive wearing" and "ultra-long standby time."
Parallel Project: We will also release an amazing innovation: Headphone-type AR! Why should AR be confined to the form of glasses? Why can't it be made into the form of a monocular lens from "Dragon Ball"? So here it is:

The functions will lean towards "headphone" and "music listening" applications, with a blink sensor (infrared reflection) display effect as shown in the attached video.
Open Source License :
The open-source license states that
anyone is free to develop and modify it.
Project-related functions
(content to be updated):
Feature 1: Ultra-low power consumption: Compared to the previous generation, it can support 10 hours of continuous use. More button functions: short press to wake up and interact; long press to power off.
Feature 2: iOS Support: The iOS version will be officially launched on the app store around October, simultaneously with the Android version.
Feature 3: Navigation: Compared to the previous generation with only 3 arrows, a more complex navigation direction arrow is incorporated. To match the navigation capabilities, a hexadecimal communication protocol is used, with the following structure:
Frame Header Position Function Content CRC Frame Tail
01 02
Position: XY position
Function: Refresh arrow? Full screen black? Or enter power off mode?
Content: Display distance in meters? Display Chinese characters? Specific content.
CRC: Variable
length checksum.
Project Attributes
This project is being publicly disclosed for the first time and is my original work. This project has not won any awards in other competitions.
Project Progress
The overall project progress is required for applying for project consumable costs!
Currently, the circuit board verification is half completed, but there are still some issues with wireless communication.
The casing design is complete but has not yet been prototyped and tested.
The optical part uses the previous generation project, only with a lightweight upgrade.
Design Principles
Note: In the design principle explanation of this project

, the white box (top) represents the screen;
the white box (bottom) represents the motherboard;
the empty part is the battery.
The green line represents the optical path. The AR device is only 10mm from the eye, while the eye's closest focusing distance is over 50mm. To achieve image formation at such a close distance, light must first pass through a freeform surface for refraction (similar to the pancake effect or Fresnel effect in VR) and then through a semi-transparent, semi-reflective coating for close-range focusing.
Software instructions
: The software can use nested code blocks; no full explanation is needed, only the important parts.
