*4. Hardware

uses ESP32-S3 chip, involving power supply circuit, download circuit, step-down circuit, lithium battery charging circuit, lithium battery point acquisition circuit, TF card circuit, 5050 LED circuit. Indoor temperature and humidity acquisition uses DHT11 temperature and humidity sensor. The display module uses ST7735S 1.77-inch TFTLCD. The communication module uses ESP32-S3 chip with built-in WIFI and Bluetooth. The voice module is developed using existing modules from Taobao. The following are the schematic diagrams and descriptions of each module.
The voltage regulator circuit steps down the input 5V to 3.3V to power peripherals such as the screen. Because a core board is used, the voltage regulator circuit does not need to be soldered; the peripherals are powered through the core board. This part will be explained in the core board module section regarding
the power input module, which is powered through a 2-pin Type-C connector. When replicating, please pay attention to the pin polarity to prevent incorrect polarity from burning out components. An indicator light will illuminate on the right side after the switch is turned on.
The core board module uses two 22-pin female connectors for external core board use. The core board is the Taobao ESP32-S3-WROOM-1, N16R8, which has been verified to work with the screen and 5050 LED strip (SPI). You can select whether to use the core board for power supply via jumpers H5 and H6. If the voltage regulator module is not soldered, a jumper connection is required; if it is already soldered, please disconnect it.
The button module and
SD card module have been verified as functional in the previous project (based on Renesas' clock/e-book - JLCPCB EDA open source hardware platform (oshwhub.com)). The ESP32-S3 (SPI)
speaker module has also been verified, using a wire-to-board connector to connect the speaker.
