[Verified] MSPM0G3507_CoreBoard_V0.2

Overview
MSPM0G3507 core board (verified).
I suffered greatly in the 2024 provincial competition H problem's m0 car because I didn't have a suitable board, so I decided to make my own. (
I don't have much experience with board design, so please forgive the poor quality of my drawings qwq).
All the chips in the diagram can be soldered directly with a hot air gun or soldering station, since SMT is too expensive qwq. (
I soldered the G3507 first, because if it's not soldered properly, the board is basically ruined. I'm not sure if this is correct; I suggest using plenty of solder paste, the kind that can be used for cooking (not really), otherwise the chip pins are prone to bridging) .
I chose
5V input and added an ESD protection factor to prevent surges.
For the voltage conversion, I used an LDO for convenience, but as I've learned more, I've found that current DC-DC converters also handle ripple perfectly well and are more efficient. Next... The board will probably use a DC-DC
converter. Incidentally, this board has separate power ground and digital ground, connected with a 0Ω resistor. When learning about copper pouring, I read that solid ground and separate ground each have their advantages and disadvantages, but I still don't fully understand it.
The LEDs used are programmable LEDs, using one pin to control the color, which saves pins. However, it seems that LCSC didn't have them in stock when I bought the components last time. (
Regarding the
chip, although it's nominally 80MHz, it can be overclocked to 120MHz by configuring the clock tree (using Sysconfig). Although it's not very useful, those who like tinkering can play around with it.) (
Also, the pin assignment isn't very scientific; I suggest changing it when replicating it.)
