STC Motion Sensing Gimbal

 
Overview
 
The system consists of two main parts: a motion-sensing remote control and a servo gimbal. The motion-sensing remote control reads data from the gyroscope sensor and sends control commands to the gimbal via a 2.4G wireless RF communication module, controlling the servo's movement.
The motion-sensing remote control can switch between different modes by long-pressing the middle button. Mode 1: Button control; short presses of the up, down, left, and right buttons control the gimbal's X and Y axis movement, and a short press of the middle button resets the mode. Mode 2: Motion-sensing mode; in this mode, the motion-sensing remote control reads gyroscope sensor values, converts these values ​​into coordinates, and controls the gimbal's X and Y axis movement within a 180-degree range, with a step angle of 2 degrees, meaning the gimbal has 90 positions in each of the X and Y axes.
The system employs a de-jitter method to reduce jitter during servo gimbal movement. Specifically, the gyroscope sensor data is filtered to reduce sensitivity.
Besides the STC microcontroller solution, a version of this system has also been designed and verified using an STM32 solution. Currently, it only has basic functionality; future versions can be integrated with components such as cameras to achieve richer applications.
