B2NT5z

A simple and inexpensive SATA to USB 2.0 adapter board based on MA6116A.

Overview
The schematic diagram is from http://wenku.baidu.com/view/853ac6f3a8114431b80dd825?from_appshare=readpage.
A fairly complete differential wiring has been done (the USB one is based on this, but I'm too lazy to improve it; it'll do for now).
If you have a ready-made IC, that's best; otherwise, buying one isn't cost-effective. I've tried several white silkscreened ICs, and none of them worked; maybe my soldering skills are lacking.

Data involved carries risks; proceed with caution.

USB 2.0 + 500GB HDD (12V) speed (highly sensitive to 5V; extension cable won't work).
USB 2.0 + 128GB SSD speed
after passing through an SL2.1a USB 2.0 hub.
