My fun insect-killing lamp cleverly utilizes green, blue, and purple insect-attracting lights. By controlling the ball bearings to enter different openings, different combinations of LED beads create varying on/off effects, providing users with a rich visual experience. Considering its application scenarios for summer nights spent relaxing or camping, we ensured the light remained constantly on in dark environments and incorporated light-transmitting holes on the PCB board, allowing users to clearly observe the ball bearings' movement.
Furthermore, to make the insecticidal lamp more practical, we were inspired by the Water Cube, designing the outer shell in a color-changing bubble shape. The transparent printed part of the ball bearing control surface is shaped like a water droplet, and swirling patterns were added to the edges of the PCB board openings, adding a touch of liveliness and fun. When insecticidal effects are needed, simply place the lamp on the water surface. Insects attracted by the light and flying around it will inadvertently fall into the water, achieving the desired insecticidal effect. Different colored lights attract different types of pests, providing users with a fun and practical outdoor experience.
