Overview
The IP2326 3S/3-cell lithium battery charging module is suitable for replacing
 

the integrated power MOSFETs in various 12.6V lithium battery chargers for electric drills, flashlights, and RC remote control cars. It adopts a synchronous switching architecture, requiring very few external components and effectively reducing the overall solution size and BOM cost.
The boost switching charger operates at a frequency of 500kHz; it supports a maximum input charging of 15W, with a 94% conversion efficiency for 5V input and 8V/1A output, and a 92% conversion efficiency for 8V/1.5A output.
It features input voltage limiting, intelligently adjusting the charging current to adapt to the adapter's load capacity.
It supports external pins to select between 2-cell and 3-cell lithium battery charging;
and supports external resistors to adjust parameters such as charging current, charging voltage, input undervoltage threshold, input overvoltage threshold, and charging timeout threshold.
It can request fast charging input based on the current battery voltage to improve charging efficiency and shorten charging time.
An integrated 2-cell charging equalization circuit detects the voltage of each battery cell during charging to ensure voltage balance between the two cells.
Integrated NTC protection function, which can be implemented with an NTC resistor to achieve charging NTC protection. Tested and confirmed to be functional
in a 4*4mm QFN24 package , it supports fast charging and can work stably for extended periods . When using this module, it is recommended to choose a charger that supports QC3.0; otherwise, the 5V3A boost 12V charging inductor and main controller will overheat significantly and cannot operate stably for extended periods.
