OM13588: USB Type-C Shield expansion board for Kinetis® ^Freedom and LPC boards

Overview

The USB PD/Type-C Shield expansion board, combined with the MCUXpresso SDK with USB Power Delivery Library, allows system designers to connect USB Type-C connectors to any Kinetis or LPC development platform. It also significantly reduces design time by taking full advantage of NXP's "Instant Play" hardware and SDK libraries.

The USB PD/Type-C shield board includes NXP's PD PHY, CC Logic chip, USB 3.1 signal conditioner, high-voltage power switches, and authentication products.
