IV-18 Glow Tube Clock
1 Host Computer
• Obtain the host computer file from: https://gitee.com/z-wuhu/iv-18-glow-tube-clock
• Due to the large size of the demonstration video, I have uploaded it as three compressed files in the attachments. You need to select 1.part1.rar, 1.part2.rar, and 1.part3.rar in the attachments simultaneously to decompress them.
1.1 Initial Connection
• The slave device has four display states: display time, obtain host computer data, display user-defined content, and turn off display function
. • Connect to the slave device by clicking the connection button in the lower left corner of the host computer. After connection, the current status of the slave device will be automatically displayed (e.g., if the current slave device status is off, it will display the user-defined display screen after connection, and the turn-off button will be pressed).
1.2 Time and Date Display Interface
• This interface can be used normally even when the slave device is not connected
. • After connecting the slave device, click the button in the lower left corner to switch the time and date display, and the slave device will display synchronously
. • For example, the time display is shown in the following figure

1.3. Custom Display and Hide Display
: This interface works normally even when the lower-level device is not connected.
After connecting the lower-level device, each segment can be independently controlled. Users can customize the display content by clicking the corresponding segment on the upper-level device. The lower-level device will synchronously display the customized content using the custom display button in the lower left corner
. For example, the custom display is shown in Figure

: This interface only works normally after connecting the lower-level device
. It displays a list of alarm clocks and
the lower-level device 's settings.
