This reference design uses the ADP1051, a newly launched low-cost and highly integrated power supply chip from ADI, to control the energy conversion from input to output. This power supply design comprehensively considers factors of efficiency and cost, and designs a solution with optimal efficiency and cost at the 400W power level. It is suitable for power amplifier power supply systems of wireless communication base stations and railway power supply systems in the industrial field.
With dual-isolated RS-485 communication channels for the next generation of ultra-small programmable logic controllers, the MAXREFDES69# meets the data rate and higher voltage needs of industrial control and industrial automation applications, while consuming minimal power and space. This high-performance system features two full-duplex RS-485 transceivers with integrated transformer drivers for efficient and compact power and data isolation.
The MAXREFDES1209 operates over a 14V to 60V input voltage range to deliver output voltage regulated at 12V and up to 500mA of load current.
The MAX16990 is a high-performance, current-mode, pulse-width mode (PWM) controller with 4μA (typ) shutdown current for wide input-voltage range boost converters/single-ended primary-inductor converters (SEPIC)

This reference design provides a complete demonstration platform for using industrial/scientific/medical (ISM) radio frequency (RF) products in a remote keyless entry (RKE) application. It discusses package size, data rate, transmit and receive frequency, component value calculation and selection, layout considerations, and firmware operation. Development steps, system structure, example code, and test results are also provided.
Single stage 5-6 GHz WLAN LNA using BFU730F
The MAX2550 is a complete single-chip radio transceiver for UMTS band 1 femtocell applications. The RD2550 reference design is based on the MAX2550 and contains all of the relevant components necessary to design and build a competitive radio solution to support the base-station transceiver (BTS) frequency band: 1920MHz to 1980MHz (Rx) and 2110MHz to 2170MHz (Tx). The RD2550 also supports downlink monitoring of surrounding macrocells. This enables the system to select the most suitable operating conditions (power, codes, frequencies, capacity, etc.).
This reference design provides a complete demonstration platform for using an industrial/scientific/medical radio frequency (ISM-RF) receiver in a tube motor remote-control application. System structure, BOM, schematics, layout, and test results are provided.
The ADSP-CM40X series of processor chips are the latest products launched by ADI based on the ARM Cortex M4 core. The product's processor has a main frequency of up to 240Mhz, integrates a high-performance 16bits ADC, harmonic analysis engine (HAE) and rich memory and external interface resources. It is very suitable for medium and low-voltage relay protection products, distribution automation terminals, and motors. Servo drive control and other applications.
Second stage Ku band LNA using BFU730F in a LNB satellite application
This reference design is for a highly efficient, flyback, 5V Class 3 powered device (PD) with a wide 9V to 57V auxiliary input. The design features the MAX5969B as its controller. The design also uses the MAX5974D, which controls current-mode PWM converters and provides frequency foldback for both the auxiliary input and power over Ethernet (PoE) applications. Using these devices, this reference design is IEEE® 802.3af/at compliant. It is also a high-performance, compact, and cost efficient solution for a Class 3 PD. The design can also support the wide auxiliary-input voltage range to provide 10W output power.
