This is a 220V 800W flasher light circuit that connects directly to a 220V mains supply. One or more lights with high consumption/power can be used. It is ideal for sign warnings or dangers, this circuit makes the light flash.
The working of this circuit is very simple. The 400V capacitor, bridge rectifier, Zener diode and 100uF capacitor will form a supply voltage obtained of approx. 9VDC from a transformerless power supply design. The integrated 555 and its accessory components produce a series of pulses applied to the triac optocoupler MOC3021, which is driven intermittently, causing the light to turn on and off continuously. The triac can be 2N6073A or TIC226D. By changing the 100K resistor or 1uF capacitor, the flashing time will also change. The rectifier bridge can be 4 1N4007 diodes or a 400V bridge diode with a current of 1A. The triac should be mounted on a heat sink to prevent overheating.
WARNING!!! The entire circuit is powered by a 220v mains supply without insulation, so proper safety precautions should be taken to minimize the risk. Build this 220V 800W flasher circuit at your own risk.
