The traditional three-phase bridge inverter circuit is shown in Figure (a). In the figure, VT1~VT6 are thyristors, L1~L6 are commutation inductors, and C1~C6 are commutation capacitors. The two form a thyristor turn-off circuit. VD1~VD6 are feedback diodes. According to the working principle of the thyristor, under the action of the three-phase AC input power supply, if the thyristor withstands the maximum forward anode voltage and the control electrode receives a trigger pulse, it will turn into a conductive state. On the contrary, the thyristor in the on state will turn into the off state under the action of sufficient reverse anode voltage. Figure (b) is a simplified diagram of Figure (a).
