Wiring of leakage protectors with different action modes
① Electromagnetic leakage protector. Because it is not protected against overload and short circuit, a fuse must be installed in front of it .
The wiring of the electromagnetic leakage protector is shown in Figure (a). In the figure, os is the isolating switch or knife switch.
②DZL18, DZL33 and DLK type leakage protectors are electronic leakage protectors with controlled power supply. Because they do not
have overload protection function, the fuse must be installed behind it. The wiring of this type of leakage protector is shown in Figure (b).
If the fuse is installed in front of it, once an overload or short circuit occurs, the phase line fuse does not break but the neutral line fuse blows, and the leakage
protector will not trip. At this time, the human body will get an electric shock if it touches the phase line on the load side. ③ For leakage protectors (bias circuit breakers, such as DZL30, XA10LE, E4EB,
etc. series)
with both overload and short-circuit protection functions , there is no need to install a main fuse . The wiring is shown in Figure (c).
