The circuit is shown in Figure 6-24.
Connecting an auxiliary resistor Rf or diode VD in parallel to both ends of the relay coil is equivalent to
adding a short-circuit coil to the iron core after power failure , thus
prolonging the release time. Rf in Figure 6-24 (b) can
be omitted.
